Criminal or Delusional?

As the plane carrying John Karr is due to touchdown at LAX in about an hour and as the details of his arrest unfold, I must say that at this point, I agree with this guy - Bill Johnson of the Rocky Mountain News.

Absolutely, John Karr needs to be in jail because he's a creepy, delusional, child molesting, whack job, but not because he killed JonBenet.

The most important evidence in the case - DNA taken from two blood spots, hair and fiber found on JonBenet, two partial palm prints, and one foot print - will prove he's the wrong or right guy soon enough but I can't figure out what the Boulder District Attorney's office is thinking. Why did they even arrest this guy? So far, the only credability to his confession is that he has graphic details of the condition of JonBenet's body that were not published to the media. What hasn't been published to the media? The full coroner's report is
online, for christ's sake.

Maybe there is something more, but if he described it, I bet he just got lucky in his delusions because nothing else is lining up. There's no evidence what so ever that he's even been to Boulder and his wife at the time of the murder said he was with her in Alabama. By the way, many wackos have claimed to have killed JonBenet, but none of them serious enough to attract attention from law enforcement, so why did they bother with this guy? What does D.A. Mary Lacy know that we don't? Does anyone have any faith in the Boulder D.A. these days? Check out writer Travis Henry's account of another case they screwed up royal.

There is one weird thing to note though - a former classmate of Karr's has shared a yearbook entry that ends with Karr writing in capital block letters:

"THOUGH, DEEP IN THE FUTURE, MAYBE I SHALL BE THE CONQUERER [sic] AND LIVE IN MULTIPLE PEACE."

This is only interesting because the Ramsey ransom note was signed, S.B.T.C.

I think that's just a weird coincidence, or maybe it was even a doctored entry by the classmate wanting to get their name in the news, but when they showed the ransom note and the yearbook on CourtTV side by side, the writing did look very similar.

Did you see the Today show this morning? It was ridicules, they interviewed some other passengers from the flight over from Thailand. Stupid questions like "what was it like to fly with a killer?"

I will be so happy when this is all behind us again...

Other accounts I have read suggest Karr was due to end up in Thai prison, more or less at the mercy of men with necks considerably thicker than his. Inference: perhaps Karr used this 'confession' to get out of Thailand before a lot of Thailand got into him.

I hear ya Michael but I don't think they had enough on him to put him in Thai prison for long. My latest theory is that maybe the D.A. is trying to flush out the real killer by letting someone else take the credit.

Your right cubie though... enough is enough, and the poor Ramseys have been put through enough and now more media circuses.
